Makotek
recently recognized 26 people having worked for Makotek for over
five years. The employees are the foundation of our
company and recognizing these long term employees is the right
thing to do says Rich Rettstadt, President. For their
years of service the employees were presented with a custom
award and several prizes. Congratulations to David Johnson
from Atlanta pictured here and to all recipients!
Over the past year Makotek has awarded over 100 laptops to its employees. John Slaton and Michael Duckworth are pictured here. General Manager Dan Stephens says that keeping the techs apprised of their progress has helped to keep morale high and recommends that every manager utilize the program. He says the benefits far outweigh the costs! Congrats to everyone!!!!!!!
Employees earn the free laptop by meeting save rates and production goals for their system over 8 weeks. The laptops are great tools that help our employees be more efficient, says Jim DeCastro VP. This program requires a consistent performance over two months and rewards the employees with a tool that will make their work easier. The laptop is used from routing to check-in and is a real advantage to the employees.
Brighthouse recently sent VP Rick Beltz a compliment received from a customer. They asked the message be passed along to the employee, his supervisor, and the whole team.
Crawford was working a account that informed him they were disconnecting their service because of a negative experience at Brighthouse. Crawford listened to the customer and began to discuss Brighthouse service. He advised the customer about sales and promotion available to her if she would consider staying with Brighthouse. He then spent time with the customer to help them understand how to use the services offered to them. This took time and ran late but Crawford was just focused on the job at hand. The result of the experience for the customer is they called Brighthouse and complimented Crawford on his thoroughness and professionalism. "The technician impressed us and gave a great name for Brighthouse, the customer said, and I have cancelled my pending installation to DirecTV."
Crawford understood why we were there, and executed his assignment flawlessly, rather than hastily. The result is a compliment from the customer and the client. Congrats Peter Crawford, your an example for everyone in the field!
